What IS District Creatives?

Glad you asked... Man, I have no idea. I started this blog in 2007, to chronicle Washington DC's creative underbelly. But with the advent of more and more similar blogs with similar themes since then, I've realized that other people have more time, are more dedicated and do this job a hell of a lot better than I do. So this site has evolved into a minor blip on the Washington DC creatives radar screen - I use it to showcase friends, or acquaintances that I feel are doing good for the creative community. Oh, and myself. And sometimes I dabble into the out-of-market info, but I'll only post something if I feel it's relevant. ...Eh, who am I kidding - I'm a stubborn, vain photographer, and these are my words and images and these are also my friends and my life. Enjoy. :) District Creatives has NO link or affiliation to any major metropolitan publication or periodical, and is owned and operated by photographer Kevin A. Koski.
